Our School
Deep Creek Christian Academy is a Christian school in Wadesboro, NC, where faith and learning come together. Our mission is to provide a strong academic foundation while helping students grow closer to God. With caring teachers, a close-knit community, and a focus on biblical values, we are committed to guiding each child in both their education and their walk with God.
At Deep Creek Christian Academy, we offer a full range of early childhood and elementary education in a Christ-centered environment:
Preschool: Serving ages 1 through 4, our preschool program provides a loving, nurturing space where young children begin learning through play, structure, and biblical foundations.
Grades K–3: Our grade school currently includes Kindergarten through 3rd grade, offering strong academics paired with daily Bible instruction and a supportive, faith-filled atmosphere.
As God continues to bless our school, we plan to add one grade level each year—growing alongside the students and families we serve.

Vision Statement/School Mascot
The DCCA motto is “Warriors for Christ”. The goal for students and staff is to mature in our relationship with Christ, and to be equipped with Christian values and skills that will be used in leadership to promote God’s kingdom work. It is our desire to seek wisdom over scholarship, character over career, and service over self.

Deep Creek Christian Academy will promote and maintain the teachings and doctrines of Deep Creek Baptist Church. We believe that the Church is a body of baptized believers, voluntarily associated together to maintain the worship of God, and acknowledging no head but Jesus Christ, and no religious authority but the Word of God; however, experience has taught the necessity of all bodies having order for conducting business, that our cause may be better promoted.
School Goals
Christ-centered purpose: "Warriors for God” - DCCA desires to prepare each student to serve Christ with excellence and achieve one's best.

Character building: DCCA is dedicated to teaching biblical qualities that matter most: trust in God, honesty in word and deed, respect for authority, and kindness toward others. We believe a strong character rooted in God's word is necessary.

Outstanding staff: DCCA seeks qualified, properly degreed, and experienced teachers.

School environment: DCCA strives to offer a safe learning environment in which our students are eager to learn. Students are often reminded they are God's creation and worthy of His love.

Home-strengthening: DCCA is an extension of the home in preparing students in Kingdom education. Scripture has commanded parents to teach scripture to their children. When they start school, the school becomes that extension of instruction. Parents are encouraged to be actively involved with their children in classroom activities, field trips, and school.
